Snapshots are created once per minute, using intraday data from Cryptocurrencies in the current trading day.

Click anywhere on the grid to activate the slider for that region, then click (or drag) to move the slider horizontally across the Market Cap range to show the list of currencies within the slider window. Click on the left or lower edges to select an entire regionEach snapshot captures price % movement, making it easy to track changes along the Market Cap range. Stars indicate values that are in the most extreme levels on the grid.

The dots on a snapshot represent the latest percentage changes for each cryptocurrency. This shows an overall view of the Market in terms of current price movement, with a latency of up to a few minutes.

When it comes to tracking price fluctuations in the crypto market, it can be overwhelming to keep track of price movements across thousands of currencies. Typically, a watchlist is used to monitor currencies that they are invested in or interested in the most.

Introducing Market Snapshot and Alert Profiles. We've made it easy to not only have an eagle-eye view of market prices in one picture (snapshot), but also be able to set up Alert Profiles containing price settings so you are only notified of price changes you are interested in. This helps to minimize the "noise" of daily minor price fluctuations, and be notified quickly of substantial price fluctuations.

Market Snapshot

Each snapshot is a scatter plot of cryptocurrencies at a glance. Cryptocurrencies are sorted by Market Cap (smallest to largest from left to right), displaying price percentage movements from an overall market perspective. Market Capitalization (also referred to as Market Cap, or MC), it is an important aspect in terms of value.

Snapshots are taken approximately every 5 minutes when the market is Open (click Refresh Data to view latest values).

Alert Profiles

We created the Alert Profiles feature so you can keep track of price movements even when you're not on our website watching Market Snapshots. However, given the amount of typical fluctuations that occur on a daily basis, we provided a few options for narrowing down or filtering out the "noise".

During a trading day, prices fluctuate between an intraday High and Low. Generally speaking, stocks at the higher end of the Market Cap spectrum may experience less volatility than stocks with a low Market Cap. For example, it not uncommon for some currencies with a low MC to fluctuate with a high % on a weekly basis, whereas currencies with a high MC may only fluctuate a few % weekly. This is why we created Alert Profiles, so that each profile can be configured specifically for different sections of the market.

Creating multiple Alert Profiles allows you to "watch" for market changes for specific areas within the Market spectrum. For example, you can create an Alert Profile with 5% minimum change where Market Cap is above $10B, and have another Alert Profile with 200% minimum change where Market Cap is below $500M, depending on your needs.

We also offer more settings than just Market Cap to get notifications for specific price changes, such as entering a watchlist.

When making changes to your Alert Profiles, it may take a few minutes for your changes to take effect.

We encourage you to try out different settings to see what suits you in terms of what to receive notifications for, and how often to receive them. For any assistance or questions, send us an email contact@migizitech.com.au.

FAQ

How-To video coming soon!

Profile Name

  • Between 1-30 characters.

  • a-z / A-Z / space / underscore "_" / dash"-".

  • Profile names must be unique.

Market

  • Select a market to apply the Alert Profile to.

Notifications

  • Select your preferred notification method. Email is the easiest option, but the Webhook (Slack/Discord) option is usually faster to send alerts. We use a 3rd party email provider to send emails, and sometimes there are unavoidable delays. For more information about how to create a Webhook, see our info page at https://www.asxequitystocks.com.au/webhook-how-to

  • You can set these to off for individual profiles to temporarily disable notifications for specific profiles.

  • Alternatively, you can use the setting "Quiet Mode" to temporarily disable notifications for all profiles.

Price Change %

  • Minimum/Interval percentages can be set individually for Up (+ve %), and Down (-ve %) price changes.

  • Minimum %: This is the minimum % percentage change to receive a notification for. For example, setting this to 5% means you will receive a notification for all stock prices that have changed at least 5% from the previous End-Of-Day price..

  • Interval %: (optional) This value specifies at what intervals you want to receive notifications after a stock price price has reached the minimum % price change. For example, if you set a minimum % change of 5%, and an interval of 10%, you will receive a notification at 5%, 10%, 20%, 30% etc, if a price continues to change throughout a trading day.

Filter (optional)

  • By default, Price % Min/Interval is matched against all price moments in the market, however, you have the option of entering a Market Cap range, or Watchlist (Symbols), to narrow down sections of the Market you want to be alerted for price changes.

  • Watchlist: Enter a watchlist by typing in symbols (comma-delimited), or paste directly from an Excel column, then click Add Symbol List. A Watchlist cannot be used in combination with Market-Cap range or Sectors/Industries.

  • Market-Cap: Select one of the predefined Market-Cap ranges or enter a Custom range. As an option, setting a Min Price allows you to filter out currencies with a very low price (E.g. $0.01) as they may be particularly volatile and can create a lot of unwanted noise in terms of notifications.

Quiet Mode

  • Sometimes you may need a break from alerts, such as taking a trip to Hawaii and you just want to enjoy the beach (lucky you!). Whatever the occasion, by turning on Quiet Mode, this means you will not receive any alerts. Quiet Mode can be turned on or off at any time. Alternatively, you can disable any specific alert profiles by unticking the Notification option so that no options are selected.

Frequency

  • This controls how often you receive notifications for the alert profile, if there are price changes that match your alert profile settings.
